Member Support Representative
Summary: To provide exemplary and expedited service to our members. To address incoming and outgoing communication with existing and potential eLayaway™ members regarding operation and management of their account.
Essential Functions: Regularly handle or upgrade incoming chat, email, and support calls with existing and potential eLayaway members.
Scope Data/Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work schedules include days, evenings, weekends and holidays and may require overtime. May require prolonged periods of sitting.
RequirementsSkills, Knowledge, Abilities and Traits:
- Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent and a working knowledge of support practices and procedures. Higher Level Computer Literacy Skills may be substituted for High school diploma.
- Requires one year of customer service experience, preferably in the retail merchant services industry.
- Willingness and ability to work long hours within an office setting primarily utilizing the telephone and the Internet to provide support.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write grammatically correct English, perform basic mathematics and should be computer literate.
- Should demonstrate motivation and satisfactory interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with merchants and co-workers.
