UI Developer
Summary: eLayaway.com is looking for an experienced front-end developer. The right candidate will have extensive experience building semantic, standards compliant sites with HTML and CSS. Experience with object oriented javascript development, preferably with Prototype & Scriptaculous or jQuery, is also a must. Experience with Ruby on Rails is preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Extensive experience building semantic, standards compliant sites with HTML and CSS.

- Knowledge of Internet retailing and online sales preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work long hours inside an office primarily using the computer and the Internet.
Scope Data/Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work schedules include days, evenings, weekends and holidays and may require overtime. May require prolonged periods of sitting.
Requirements: Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Traits:
- Candidates should have a minimum of two years full-time work experience in this discipline as well as a relevant bachelor's degree.
- Should demonstrate motivation and good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers.
