Joe Martinez
VP of Technology
Mr. Martinez is responsible for the technology that powers the eLayaway® platform. He has extensive experience in development, service delivery and support of high traffic web sites. After graduating from Florida State University’s School of Business with a degree in Management Information Systems. Mr. Martinez began consulting for many large corporate and government clients including the State of Florida. He was recruited by the State of Florida to take a position as the Director of the State's official portal -- MyFlorida.com®. At MyFlorida.com®, Mr. Martinez eliminated over $300K in recurring licensing expense by performing a complete rewrite of the MyFlorida.com® platform, which is still in operation today. Additionally, Mr. Martinez served as a consultant on many high publicity projects such as the People First statewide HR system and developed the former Governor Jeb Bush's web infrastructure and the current Governor Charlie Crist's transition site and current web site.
