Thom Park, CFO

Thom Park, Ph.D., brings a wealth of professional experience to the office of CFO. His foundational careers include the military and a lifetime in the sports world as an athlete, coach and administrator. His record includes five bowl game appearances, five team captaincies and many championships as a participant in 16 different sports dating back to 1958. A former college football coach and Division D1A Director of Athletics, Park has 27 years of formal education, three earned degrees, and a quarter century of university teaching. Serving ten years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Armor Officer during Vietnam, Park, left the military and athletics for more graduate education. In 1982, he simultaneously entered the securities industry, becoming a Vice President and Branch Manager at Dean Witter, later, Morgan Stanley. He concurrently taught at Florida State University (1980-2005), rising to the rank of Courtesy Associate Professor in the College of Education where he was named a Distinguished Alumnus. While he led and managed in business, he also had substantial volunteerism duties in the community and government, all while owning and operating long distance an at risk youth outdoor adventure school in Central New York. Nehemiah's Wall, Inc. at The Adirondack Center, under Thom's leadership, has hosted and developed over 50,000 youth clients and many disadvantaged constituents in the Northeast. Park is author of four books and 121 articles in academia and is a nationally known consultant and speaker. Park's prolific career of diversity across the military, coaching, education, business, finance, charity, government, the private sector, entrepreneurialism and the church is a rarity.

Park is assigned at eLayway with the oversight and build-out of the Finance area. His nine figure capital responsibility at Morgan Stanley (1982-2003) and wide experience in the business world will allow the development of this innovative payments service company's Finance Department. Thom and Susan Park have been married for over three decades, have parented three grown children, Bethany, 35, a Kissimmee, Florida 5th grade teacher, Clint, 33, a City President at Regions bank in Atlanta, and Rachel, 23, a Tallahassee cosmetologist, and two grandchildren.
