Product Page Integration
Process Overview:
Product Page Integration, or PPI, is the least technical of eLayaway's integration methods. This integration method places an “eLayaway Now” button on the merchants individual product page. When customers click on the “eLayaway Now” button that will be placed on a specific product page by the merchant, they will be prompted with the eLayaway calculator. The eLayaway calculator gives the merchant's customer the ability to select payments that fit their individual budget. A small example of a Product Page Integration is shown below.
If the item the merchant wishes to place the "eLayaway Now" button on has multiple options, (i.e., color, size, etc.) additional programming may be required on the merchants part to accommodate them. Alternatively, our eCommerce Integration (ECI) allows customers to use eLayaway for their entire shopping cart at the end of your checkout process.
PPI Requirements
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Ability to edit and add to the HTML code used on the product page, primarily in the header template and product template.
- Register with eLayaway to obtain a merchant ID. If you have not already done so, please click here to register. An account activation email will be sent to the email address used during the registration process. Simply click on the link within the activation email to log into your account and obtain your merchant ID.
